I stayed for 1 night in a King Room with no windows. It was cosy and comfy, and the lack of windows didn’t bother me at all. The place was super clean despite all the mud you bring in from the island’s unpaved roads. Easy access to the beach and restaurants made it a breeze to explore. 🏝️

The staff were genuinely friendly and eager to help, even with the occasional language barrier. The cozy King Room was immaculately clean despite the mud from the island's roads, and the location was ideal for accessing the beach and local eateries. However, the hot water was inconsistent, requiring quick showers before the temperature dropped, and there were a few instances where no one was available at the front desk. A better connection with guests about maintenance issues would enhance the experience.

Our stay included constant issues, from a broken door lock locking us out all night to inconsistent hot water during showers. Despite these challenges, the friendliness of the staff stood out. I recommend double-checking room amenities upon arrival and being prepared for limited reception hours.

It was just a solid selection for a city holiday in Isla Holbox that offered value for price. They had comfortable beds which helped after long days in the sun. Bring some earplugs if noise bothers you.

bohonito holbox has a perfect location close to the center of the island, making it easy to explore. the staff were friendly and helpful, even with some language barriers. when we lost power due to a storm, they upgraded our room, which was greatly appreciated. also, the occasional water issues didn’t disrupt our stay too much.
